Hair Care Guide

Our Raw extensions are sourced from single donors, making each bundle naturally unique in pattern, tone, porosity, and density. Because this hair is completely unprocessed, it should be cared for just as you would your own—cleansed regularly, protected nightly, nourished lightly, stored properly, and styled with minimal heat. With intentional maintenance, Raw hair can deliver 6+ years of luxurious wear, retaining its natural sheen, softness, and movement over time. Unlike factory-processed hair, Raw textures react exactly as human hair does, meaning each bundle may lift, tone, and color differently, offering a true-to-origin, realistic experience that evolves beautifully with proper care. For best results and continued longevity, please review the recommended hair care facts below.

Pre-Installation

Before installing your hair extensions, ensure your natural hair is clean and completely dry. Gently detangle the wefts using a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working your way up. Inspect the wefts for any loose threads and trim if necessary. Store unused wefts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Daily & Night Maintenance

Daily: Gently brush your hair 2-3 times daily using a soft bristle brush or loop brush, starting from the ends. Avoid excessive pulling at the wefts.

Night: Before bed, braid your hair or wrap it in a silk/satin scarf or bonnet to prevent tangling and maintain moisture. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.

Heat Setting

Always use a heat protectant spray before applying any heat styling tools. Keep heat settings at medium (300-350°F) to prevent damage. For curly textures, air drying is recommended to maintain the natural curl pattern. When blow drying, use a diffuser attachment on low heat. Limit heat styling to 2-3 times per week for optimal hair health.

Weft Care

Washing: Wash your wefts every 7-10 days or as needed. Use sulfate-free shampoo and lukewarm water. Gently cleanse in a downward motion - never rub or twist the hair.

Conditioning: Apply a moisturizing, sulfate-free conditioner from mid-length to ends. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water to seal the cuticles.

Drying: Gently squeeze out excess water with a microfiber towel. Allow to air dry on a clean surface or use low heat with a blow dryer. Never sleep with wet hair.

  • Expect some texture change with chemical processing

Note: Chemical services void warranty. Professional application recommended for best results.
